The company was founded in 2024 by Stefan Hefer to provide a fully transparent and personal construction process to Wellington home-owners.

Architectural Alterations and Additions
Sometimes the best laid plans of architects fall flat when the Builder opens up the roof. It's a difficult reality that when renovating a home, the wall and roof spaces can be full of surprises. This is where having an experienced renovation carpenter can make all the difference. Minor Dwellings
Recent changes to resourcing laws now allow "granny flats" or minor dwellings up to 70m², and soon they will no longer need a building consent. This is a double-edged sword. It is a great opportunity to move ahead with your project, but it is more important than ever to choose a quality builder. With less oversight from the council, the builder must show a commitment to meeting every aspect of the law and building code. We can guide you through this building process with full transparency.
Project Management
Your project is led and supervised by the company Director, Stefan Hefer. He is your single point of contact for the duration of your project and manages all aspects of your build on site.

As the primary contractor, all of the sub-trades report to us, and we ensure the same high standards are met by all our sub-contractors.

Safety starts in the planning stages of your project. In Wellington where every site is different and the weather is unpredictable, maintaining a controlled and clean site is critical. Our sites are well looked after clean zones with established processes that benefit not only our tradies, but our clients if they continue to live on site or are visiting on the weekend.

Stefan Hefer
Stefan is an experienced Carpenter and Foreman who has specialised in complex heritage renovations and architectural extensions. He is the site manager and oversees day-to-day site operations and specialist finishes. Stefan is a Licensed Building Practitioner and member of the New Zealand Certified Builders Association.
